TTUHSC Hosts Third Annual West Texas Breast Disease Symposium
The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) will host its Third Annual West Texas Breast Disease Symposium on June 29. The theme of the event is “Primary Care is Not Secondary to Cancer Care.”
Cancer: A Preventable Disease
Cancer incidence is continuously rising in the State of Texas. The American Cancer Society (ACS) projects 124,890 new cases will be diagnosed in Texas during 2019, and approximately 41,300 people will die due to the disease.
