On November 13, employees throughout the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) were honored for their exceptional efforts and years of service at the 2020 Distinguished Staff Awards ceremony.
“As a telecommuting assistant professor, I usually work from my home in Dallas and travel to campus in Lubbock for faculty meetings and graduation, which will resume when it's safe to do so,” Kathleen Kearney, JD, MSN, RN, explained. “A typical day involves facilitating online courses, grading, recording videos and talking or emailing with students and other faculty.”
The TTUHSC Office of Communications & Marketing recently received one gold award and one honorable mention for social media campaigns entered in the 2020 dotCOMM Awards.
