The Texas Panhandle Poison Center is set to continue an important community program by hosting its 50th Medication Cleanout event from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., April 22, at the TTUHSC-Amarillo campus.
Like their medical student colleagues, fourth-year TTUHSC pharmacy students interested in completing a residency found out March 17 at Residency Match Day where they would spend the next 1-2 years of their training.

The West Texas Pharmacy Association (WTPA) continued its strong support of the TTUHSC School of Pharmacy when it awarded scholarships to 25 students Feb. 23-25 at its annual meeting in Fredericksburg.

Representatives from CVS, HEB, Kroger, Walgreens and Walmart pharmacies visited the Amarillo and Abilene campuses Feb. 1 to interview students for summer intern positions.
