Amarillo PDC Chapter Meets New Pharmacy Students

APCC Schedules Dates for Employee Flu Shots
The Amarillo Pharmaceutical Care Center (APCC), the Amarillo campus pharmacy located on the first floor of the School of Medicine building, has set up three dates for employees to receive their flu shots: August 28 and 30 (1:30-5 p.m.) and August 29 (8:30a.m. – noon).

Poison Center schedules next Medication Cleanout events
The Texas Panhandle Poison Center recently announced its fall collection cycle for Medication Cleanout. The fall collections will begin Sept. 29 at the TTUHSC campus in Amarillo. Additional collections are scheduled for Oct. 13 in Lubbock and Oct. 27 in Abilene.

Pharmacy Welcomes Class of 2022 with Boot Camp, White Coat Ceremony
This year the School of Pharmacy officially welcomed 156 students into its Class of 2022 with white coat ceremonies at the Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), Abilene and Amarillo campuses.
TTUHSC Amarillo Employees Honored as Texans Caring for Texans
The 2018 Texans Caring for Texans recipients were recognized Aug. 9 in a ceremony on the WTAMU campus in Canyon. TTUHSC-Amarillo honorees included faculty and staff from four schools or departments.
Pharmacy Tabs 2017-2018 Preceptors of the Year
Each year, Office of Experiential Programs asks the school’s third- and fourth-year students to honor one faculty member and one adjunct faculty member from each campus community with a Preceptor of the Year Award.
