Match Day a success for pharmacy students
Like their medical student colleagues, fourth-year TTUHSC pharmacy students interested in completing a residency found out March 17 at Residency Match Day where they would spend the next 1-2 years of their training.

Married Amarillo Medical Students 'Match' Together
Forty-eight graduating medical students from TTUHSC-Amarillo participated in the 2017 national Match Day ceremony March 17. Two of them, Miles and Ruth Grant, happen to be husband and wife, and had the good fortune of matching with the same medical facility to complete their residency programs.
'The Tedd' Hairdo Sweeps Campuses
A new hairstyle is the latest trend among faculty and students at TTUHSC. ‘The Tedd’ is named after President Tedd L. Mitchell, M.D., and is fashioned after his signature flattop hairdo.
West Texas Pharmacy Association awards scholarships
The West Texas Pharmacy Association (WTPA) continued its strong support of the TTUHSC School of Pharmacy when it awarded scholarships to 25 students Feb. 23-25 at its annual meeting in Fredericksburg.
Abilene, Amarillo students interview for internships
Representatives from CVS, HEB, Kroger, Walgreens and Walmart pharmacies visited the Amarillo and Abilene campuses Feb. 1 to interview students for summer intern positions.
TTUHSC students join local heath care effort
TTUHSC pharmacy and nursing students and faculty teamed up with volunteers from St. John Baptist Church, Amarillo College, West Texas A&M University and the City of Amarillo to conduct a free health fair focused on the top health issues faced by the African-American community.
