Bush Sisters to Speak at Amarillo Luncheon

Bush Institute for Women’s Health hosts the Sisters First Luncheon from Noon – 1:30 p.m. Nov. 15 at the Amarillo Civic Center Grand Plaza located at 401 S. Buchanan St.

For the past decade, the popularity of electronic cigarette use, or vaping, has grown significantly, especially among adolescents and former smokers who view these electronic nicotine delivery systems, or e-cigarettes, as a safe alternative to traditional tobacco smoking. Though the health risks posed by long-term tobacco smoking to areas of the body like blood vessels is well established, research into the long-term effects of vaping is in its early stages.

More than 100 Texas Tech Physician Doctors Make “Top Docs” List

This year, more than 100 Texas Tech Physicians doctors were recognized by fellow area physicians as the best in their field. Twenty-eight Texas Tech Physicians doctors from the Amarillo clinics were selected for Amarillo Magazine’s “Top Docs” and seventy-three Texas Tech Physicians from the Lubbock clinics were selected for Lubbock Magazine’s “Top Docs.”
