Bogschutz One of Thirteen in the Country to Receive Phi Kappa Phi Literacy Grant

One in six children in the U.S. has one or more developmental disabilities or delays. If a child has a developmental delay, early identification and intervention can have a significant impact on a child’s ability to learn new skills, as well as reduce the need for costly interventions over time, according to the Center for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC).

Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas Awards Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Grants

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) researchers were awarded more than $3.1 million in grants from the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT). The funds were awarded to support new scientific research projects and recruits to help fight cancer in Texas. TTUHSC’s grants are part of over $6 million that was awarded to the Texas Tech University System.

Student Organizations Recognized at State, National Meetings

The first weekend in August was one of achievement for student organizations representing the TTUHSC Jerry H. Hodge School of Pharmacy.
