Chancellor’s Council Recognizes Texas Tech University System’s Top Faculty

Texas Tech University System Chancellor Robert Duncan recently recognized 14 faculty members from the system’s four component institutions as recipients of the 2018 Chancellor’s Council Distinguished Teaching and Research Awards. These awards recognize excellence in academics and research, and are the most prestigious honors granted to faculty members throughout the TTU System.

Chancellor’s Council honors Amarillo Pharmacy Professor

Eric MacLaughlin, Pharm.D., professor and chair for the School of Pharmacy’s Department of Pharmacy Practice in Amarillo, was among four TTUHSC faculty members to receive a Chancellor’s Council Distinguished Faculty Award Jan. 25.

Abilene Researcher Lands NIH Grant to Develop Kidney Cancer Vaccine

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) awarded a three-year grant to Laurence Wood, Ph.D., an assistant professor for the Department of Immunotherapeutics and Biotechnology at TTUHSC in Abilene.
