As a result of the few patients infected with the Ebola virus currently seeking medical care in Dallas, the Texas Tech school of nursing has decided that for the safety of the students undergoing their clinical training, it is best to allow the students. to complete their training elsewhere.

According to an email sent out by the Dean of the Tech Health Sciences Center, Dr. Steven Berk, students undergoing training at other hospitals are at no risk of infection, so they will still be able to continue their clinical rotations. The only students who are unable to complete their training in their hospital are those who were training at Texas Health Presbyterian Dallas.
