In November, Amie Blaszczyk, Pharm.D., officially began her two-year term as president of the Texas chapter of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP). In addition, Whitney Zentgraf, Pharm.D., received a Top 4 Poster award at ASCP’s Annual meeting in Dallas.

TTUHSC surgical oncologist Subhasis Misra, M.D., hosted a group of state and local leaders who pledged their support for the National Colorectal Cancer Roundtable’s “80% by 2018” initiative that seeks to regularly screen 80 percent of adults aged 50 and older for colorectal cancer by 2018.
