Amarillo PDC Chapter Meets New Pharmacy Students
Since early August, Beta Rho, the School of Pharmacy’s Phi Delta Chi (PDC) student organization chapter in Amarillo, has organized several events to introduce the chapter to first-year students and start planning for the upcoming school year.
A Visionary Hero - Lori Rice Spearman
Lori Rice Spearman, Ph.D., started working for TTUHSC October 1987. She was appointed dean in January 2016 and leads the largest School of Health Professions in Texas and one of the largest in the nation in relation to the breadth of programs and the number of enrolled students and graduates.
School of Nursing Hosts Abilene Mental Health Symposium
To discuss the impact national mental issues have upon Abilene and the surrounding Big Country communities, Mental Health America of Abilene (MHAA), Hendrick Health System and TTUHSC hosted MHAA’s Fourth Annual Mental Health Symposium Aug. 25 at the TTUHSC School of Nursing.
