TTUHSC, UNT Pharmacy Programs Join Forces at Career Fair

Students from all four TTUHSC School of Pharmacy campuses converged on the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex Oct. 15-16 for the school’s annual career fair. The first day of the career fair included students and faculty from the University of North Texas (UNT) Health Science Center College of Pharmacy. It was the second year TTUHSC and UNT combined their career fairs.

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center medical students have worked with barbershops and beauty salons to tackle a silent killer — high blood pressure. The Barber Shop Blood Pressure Group allows customers to do one-stop shopping when it comes to their barber and their health.

TPPC Wraps Up Fall Medication Cleanout Cycle

The collections provide a way for residents to remove unwanted or unused medications from homes, schools and the streets by safely disposing of them in a free, legal and environmentally sound manner.
