Abilene pharmacy student has the will, finds a way
Third-year pharmacy student Demetris's efforts were recognized in early April when the local chapter of the American Association of University Women named her one of Abilene’s Women of Outstanding Achievement/Women of Promise and Courage.

The TTUHSC-Amarillo Student Council conducted Bark for Life 2017 Apr. 15 at John Stiff Memorial Park.
Poison Center celebrates 50th Medication Cleanout
The Texas Panhandle Poison Center conducted its 50th Medication Cleanout collection April 22 at the TTUHSC campus in Amarillo. During the four-hour collection period, event volunteers saw 743 cars drop off more than 2,317 pounds of unwanted, expired or unused medications.
A dog’s day benefits Abilene nursing students
The TTUHSC School of Nursing in Abilene recently hosted a group of therapy dogs from the Hendrick Center for Rehabilitation.
