Texas Tech’s Emergency Communications Center released information Thursday that explains what the Ebola virus is and what types of precautions should be taken to help Lubbock avoid the virus.
The Tech Health Sciences Center is following precautions set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the state of Texas to make a plan for a possible Ebola outbreak, according to procedures posted on Tech’s emergency website. HSC officials are also staying in touch with officials at both agencies to continue conducting the procedures that will keep Tech faculty, staff and students safe.
