Free Handwriting Camp

WHAT: The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) School of Allied Health Sciences’ Department of Occupational Therapy will host a free two-week Handwriting Camp for children entering kindergarten through fourth grade in the fall.

WHEN: 9 to 11:30 a.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, June 30-July 2 and July 7-9

WHERE: TTUHSC, 3601 Fourth St., Room 3C107

EVENT: This camp will focus on the underlying developmental skills necessary for handwriting in a fun group format. Children will have small group time focusing on handwriting instruction for a small component of each camp day.

The camp is facilitated by second-year Master of Occupational Therapy students under the direction of an occupational therapist and an occupational therapy assistant.
