First Choice Emergency Room, the largest network of independent freestanding emergency rooms in the United States, named Dien Bui, MD as the Medical Director of its new Pearland - Silverlake facility.

Dr. Bui received his undergraduate degree from the University of Houston and his medical degree from Texas Tech School of Medicine. He completed his emergency medicine residency at the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans. Dr. Bui also serves as the Medical Director for Emergency Medical Services for the City of Pearland and the Director of Health and Sanitary Services for the City of Pearland. Most recently, he worked as a staff physician at Pearland Healthcare Center and at Memorial Hermann Southeast. He is board-certified in emergency medicine and has over 20 years' experience practicing emergency medicine. He currently lives in Pearland, Texas with his wife and three children.
