Lubbock Osteopathic Fund Gifts TTUHSC $1.1 Million

The Lubbock Osteopathic Fund presented the TTUHSC School of Medicine $1.1 million for the establishment of the Lubbock Osteopathic Endowed Chair in Family Medicine. The chair position was presented to Ronald L. Cook, D.O., chair of the School of Medicine Department of Family and Community Medicine.

Repository Validates, Stores Living Cancer Cells for Labs Around the World

The mission of the Childhood Cancer Repository is to provide validated cell lines and cryopreserved patient-derived xenografts (PDXs, which are human tumors growing in special mice) established from childhood cancers to all investigators who request them.
