Second-year School of Pharmacy students Princy John, Leia Gaddis and Ahmaya Mustafa took home first place in the local round of the American Colleges of Clinical Pharmacy’s (ACCP) 2019 Clinical Research Challenge.
Graduate Students Invited to Make Presentations, Attend Meetings
The American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB) has invited Sharavan Ramachandran and Nehal Gupta, graduate students from the School of Pharmacy’s Graduate Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences (GPPS), to make oral and poster presentations April 6-9 in Orlando, Florida during ASBMB’s Experimental Biology Meeting and Spotlight Session.

TTUHSC, UNT Pharmacy Programs Join Forces at Career Fair
Students from all four TTUHSC School of Pharmacy campuses converged on the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex Oct. 15-16 for the school’s annual career fair. The first day of the career fair included students and faculty from the University of North Texas (UNT) Health Science Center College of Pharmacy. It was the second year TTUHSC and UNT combined their career fairs.

Abilene Team Wins School of Pharmacy Clinical Skills Competition
Nicole Buzzard and Caitlin Burton, fourth-year pharmacy students (P4s) on the TTUHSC Abilene campus, beat nine other teams Oct. 4 and Oct. 6 to capture the School of Pharmacy’s 2018-2019 American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (AHSP) Clinical Skills Competition title.

Dallas third-year pharmacy student Devyn Pontzer has been selected to serve as a Student Ambassador for the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP).
