Health Care Professionals Encouraged to Take STEPPS to Improve Teamwork

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center

Quality Enhancement Plan invites all employees to attend TeamSTEPPS from 1 to 5 p.m. June 16 in Room 1C110A.

TeamSTEPPS is an evidence-based teamwork system aimed at optimizing patient outcomes by improving communication and other teamwork skills among health care professionals. At the conclusion of the course, you will be able to facilitate TeamSTEPPS courses on your own, and integrate teamwork principles into your courses and/or practice.

To enroll, send your name, email address, school, campus and phone number to Shelley Burson at shelley.burson@ttuhsc.edu at least one week prior to the event.
