Five Shannon Clinic physicians were named 2014 Super Doctors by Texas Monthly magazine in its December 2014 issue. Stewart Abramson, MD, PhD; Raj Cheruku, MD; David Huchton, MD; Ty Hughston, MD and Andrew Hume, MD were reported "highly recommended by their peers" in the magazine.

Dr. Ty Hughston, specializing in internal medicine, has practiced at Shannon Clinic for 24 years. He received his bachelor's degree from Texas Tech University in Lubbock and his medical degree from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple. Hughston is board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He has been included on the Super Doctors list consecutively since 2010.
