Texas Tech regents committee approves pay increases in $1.7 billion budget - LubbockOnline.com

The Texas Tech Board of Regents gave an initial nod to an operating budget that could mean more money for faculty and staff.

The board's Finance and Administration Committee approved the proposed summary operating budget for fiscal year 2015 during its meeting Thursday afternoon in Lubbock. The $1.7 billion systemwide budget includes an increase of $51 million and provides for a 2 percent merit raise for Tech and Texas Tech Health Sciences Center faculty and staff.
