Paul L. Foster elected to Baylor board - El Paso Inc.

Richard Willis, the chair of Baylor University’s board of regents, announced that Paul L. Foster, board chair and executive chair of El Paso-based Western Refining Inc., has been elected to a three-year term on the governing board. A 1979 graduate of Baylor, Foster will join the board at its next meeting in July.

In 2007, he donated $50 million to help create the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso and was appointed by Gov. Rick Perry to the board of regents of the University of Texas System, where he is vice chair.
