September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month - KCBD
Ovarian cancer is the ninth most common cancer among women, but ovarian cancer is the fifth leading cause of cancer related to death. September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month. Dr. Edward Yeomans, from the Department of OB-GYN at Texas Tech, says even though the disease is usually diagnosed in the later stages...those patients are looking back at possible symptoms. They are also sharing "clues" that might provide an earlier warning to other women. |
