Science students chosen for annual ARCS awards - LubbockOnline.com
The Lubbock chapter of a foundation called Achievement Rewards for College Scientists has chosen 11 science students in local universities to receive scholarships ranging from $2,500 to $7,500 each. The recipients for 2011-12, who will be honored at a reception and dinner program at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Lubbock Women’s Club, include Nolan Rutherford, an undergraduate student at Lubbock Christian University, $2,500; and Michael W. Holliday Jr., graduate student at Texas Tech Health Sciences Center, $7,500. |
