Desire alone does not bring freedom. It must be coupled with a willingness to act, said Dr. Bernard Mittemeyer, retired surgeon general of the U.S. Army, to a Veterans Day assembly at All Saints Episcopal School on Friday.
Now a professor of urological surgery at the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center, Mittemeyer was the lead speaker at the school’s third annual Veterans Day assembly.
