There are several types of arthritis, but osteo-arthritis is the most common. It's often referred to as the "wear and tear" arthritis. Because as we age and gain weight, that describes the breakdown of the cushion at the end of the bones. Without that cushion, the bones rub together and that hurts. For many, that happens in the knees. |
