The Perfect Path to Your BSN Degree

The pursuit of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is about more than just obtaining a degree. A BSN allows nurses to improve patient outcomes, become better leaders in the nursing field and develop skills to better the future of health.
The nursing industry is ever-evolving, and with a BSN degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC), not only will you learn the latest technological and educational advancements in nursing, you will learn the skills to adapt within a nursing environment. A BSN degree also creates opportunities for greater career advancement, salaries and responsibilities in the nursing field.
Our BSN Degree Programs

- Our Traditional BSN program is designed for students without nursing credentials. Each student receives an advanced, unparalleled nursing education without the requirement of RN prerequisites.
- The RN to BSN program builds upon the established RN’s experience and provides the trained RN with new career-advancing opportunities. With a low student-to-faculty ratio, this program allows students access to dedicated admissions coaches, success coaches and enrollment coordinators. Especially for this program, TTUHSC understands the importance of providing flexible hours.
- For those who already have a bachelor’s degree, the Second Degree BSN program is an accelerated program that gives students a 12-month, hybrid learning experience with both hands-on training and online education.
- The Veteran-to-BSN program is open to veterans from all branches of service. This is a 12-month, hybrid educational degree program that is specially designed for veterans to acquire advanced placement in our nursing curriculums. We also offer a Veterans Resource Center in Lubbock to assist all veterans and military families.
You can learn more about each program in depth on our programs page.
Why a BSN?

Our programs, which are offered at educational sites across the state, provide comprehensive training in evidence-based practice, critical thinking and leadership skills, and help the next generation of nurses to make informed decisions.
