Rumbaugh’s Research Yields Possible Biomarker and More Effective Biofilm Dispersal
Kendra Rumbaugh, Ph.D., a professor the School of Medicine’s Department of Surgery at the TTUHSC, focuses on the research of biofilms, which are thought to be associated with up to 80% of infections.

The National Cancer Institute at the National Institutes of Health recently awarded Yangzom D. Bhutia, D.V.M., Ph.D., a five-year, $1.76 million grant to investigate potential novel treatments for pancreatic cancer.
