TTUHSC Faculty and Students Use Fun Environment to Help Children Manage Diabetes
Camp New Day is a non-profit summer camp for children with diabetes that was originally started over 35 years ago. Thomas Parker, an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice in the Pediatrics Division at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Jerry H. Hodge School of Pharmacy, took over as co-director of the camp when it was going to be ended in 2009.
TTUHSC Vision Highlighted at State of the University & Faculty Award Convocation
On Nov. 4, Lori Rice-Spearman, Ph.D., president of Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) spoke at the State of the University & Faculty Award Convocation. Rice-Spearman emphasized TTUHSC’s vision—to transform health care through innovation and collaboration.
TTUHSC Recognizes Distinguished Alumni
On October 8, the 2020-2021 Distinguished Alumni award recipients gathered together for a celebration dinner held at the Academic Event Center in Lubbock.
