Health officials: Get the flu shot, nasal spray not effective
With flu season underway, local health officials say now is the time to get the flu shot, if you haven’t received one already.
Dr. Kelly Bennett, associate professor in the department of family medicine at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, said the nasal spray was an appealing option for people with needle aversions.
