Former surgery department chair honored
Daily Toreador - John Griswold, M.D., is celebrated for his 16 years as TTUHSC Department of Surgery chair
The Department of Surgery is one of the most important and most challenging departments in the medical school, Dr. Steven Berk, executive vice president and provost of HSC and School of Medicine dean, said.
Under Griswold’s leadership, the department has expanded, Berk said, and Griswold has been a role model to students, residents and colleagues.
