TTUHSC Program Helping Local Area Meet National ‘80% by 2018’ Goals
TTUHSC surgical oncologist Subhasis Misra, M.D., hosted a group of state and local leaders who pledged their support for the National Colorectal Cancer Roundtable’s “80% by 2018” initiative that seeks to regularly screen 80 percent of adults aged 50 and older for colorectal cancer by 2018.

ELF Committee begins holiday effort with luncheon, salsa contest
In an effort to brighten the upcoming holiday season for a group of TTUHSC families who need assistance, the Employee Love Fund (ELF) committee hosted its Holiday Kick-Off Luncheon Nov. 17 in the Harrington Auditorium.
Internal Medicine students compete and present at meeting
The Department of Internal Medicine’s Medical Jeopardy Team competed in the Doctors Dilemma competition Nov. 4-6 at the American College of Physicians’ Texas chapter meeting in Houston.
