Health officials advise to include vaccines in back-to-school prep
As parents prepare to send kids back to school, local health officials say don’t neglect their shots.
Dr. Richard Lampe, chairman of pediatrics at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, said required vaccines include the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR), varicella, hepatitis A, diphtheria/tetanus/pertussis (DTaP) and polio vaccinations.
