Texas Tech University Health Sciences students were welcomed to Odessa Thursday with a reception at the Odessa Chamber of Commerce.

While undergoing training here, students will participate in clinical rotations and gather real-world experience. Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Regional Dean Dr. Gary Ventolini said he went on a retreat with the students, medical residents and fellows. He said he wanted to make sure the students got to know the residents and fellows so they would know how to work as a team.
