Happiest 5K on the Planet makes a colorful splash in Amarillo - NewsChannel 10
Whether it was pink, yellow, blue or green, those walking or running in Amarillo's first ever Color RunTM this morning didn't get out without getting a little messy.
More than 12,000 people from around the area turned out for the "Happiest 5K on the Planet" that began at eight o'clock Saturday morning. Runners and walkers alike were doused in various colors at checkpoints throughout the race, leaving everyone looking like rainbow. All while promoting health, fitness and even raising a little money for the Laura W. Bush Institute for Women's Health.
