Breast cancer screenings - KFDA NewsChannel 10
The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) at Amarillo's Breast Center For Excellence will conduct breast cancer education and outreach events throughout the Texas Panhandle this month. Women will be screened to determine their eligibility for a no cost mammogram funded through a Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas grant.

The National Cancer Institute awarded a five-year, $1.9 million grant to C. Patrick Reynolds, M.D., Ph.D., director for the School of Medicine Cancer Center at TTUHSC.
