Texas Tech School of Medicine White Coat Ceremony - El Paso Inc.
The Texas Tech University Health Science Center Paul L. Foster School of Medicine held a White Coat Ceremony for 100 new medical students.The fifth class of medical students, the class of 2017, will receive their first white coat – symbol of their chosen profession. This is the largest class since the El Paso medical school opened with the first class of 40 in 2009. The White Coat ceremony is designed to clarify for students, prior to their entrance into the medical community that a physician’s responsibility is to both take care of patients and to care for patients.
