The Islamic Center holds the interfaith dinner every year, but this year the center expanded the event to include not only representatives from other religions, such as Second Baptist Church pastor Ryon Price, but prominent members of the Lubbock community, such as Nellis and Dr. Steven Berk, dean of the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center.
