Event to Benefit Free Clinic
WHAT: The first Lubbock Shoot for the Cure, Chili and Clay Charity Event
WHEN: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 14
WHERE: South Plains Gun Club, 910 County Road 130
EVENT: The event will include live music, food and tournament prizes.
Entry fee for shooters including range fee and a free t-shirt is $48, general admission
and T-shirt $24 and general admission $14. Shooter entry deadline is Sept. 1. Both
shooters and non-shooters are welcome to
attend. Prizes will be presented for first to third place in the skeet shooting competition.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) School of Medicine Student-Run Free Clinic, an urgent care clinic that provides free basic health care to the working poor and homeless population of Lubbock. The health care services are offered at no cost to patients.
