Beyond Borders, Beyond Measure Photo Exhibit

WHAT: Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) students will display photographs from their trips abroad in the Beyond Borders, Beyond Measure photography exhibit during the First Friday Art Trail.

WHEN: 6 to 9 p.m. Oct. 5 (Friday)

WHERE: The Legacy Event Center, 1500 14th St.

EVENT: TTUHSC students are encouraged to participate in international programs and activities to broaden their understanding of diverse cultural influences on health care. Each year, students travel to a wide range of locations including Ethiopia, Spain, Honduras and Nicaragua, some to study — all to serve. The transformations that result from this rich experience compel students to continue reaching beyond the borders of West Texas.

Photos selected for this exhibit, 26 total, are just a sample of the many global opportunities of which TTUHSC students have been a part. Several of the photographers will be on hand throughout the evening to share details about their personal experiences.
