An Odessa doctor was pleasantly surprised when he discovered he was the first Odessan nominated for a particular Texas Tech University award. Dr. Suresh Prasad, an internal medicine practitioner and clinical assistant professor at the Texas Tech Health Science Center, received the School of Medicine Distinguished Alumni Community Outreach Award on March 22.
