The 2012 Colorectal Cancer Prevention and Awareness Campaign kickoff for Lubbock and the South Plains will be hosted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the American Cancer Society offices, located at 3513 10th St. Dr. Tedd Mitchell, Texas Tech Health Sciences Center president, will speak about the impact of colon screenings, and survivors of colon cancer will give testimonials.
