After a U.S. Department of Health and Human Services study raised concern among health professionals and women undergoing estrogen treatment about a decade ago, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center professor Robert Kauffman is hoping upcoming studies will shed a better light on how estrogen supplements may affect women during and after menopause.
