West Texas schools are rethinking the way they teach sex education in light of high teen pregnancy rates. The Ector County ISD Student Health Advisory Council decided instead of choosing between the two, they would bring the Life Center and the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center together, providing an all encompassing message about abstinence and the use of contraceptives. |
