With an estimated 5.1 million Americans suffering from Alzheimer's disease, getting routine memory screenings is becoming more and more important.

To help drive that message home and recognize National Memory Screening Day, Texas Tech University Health Science Center hosted free memory screenings Tuesday morning. Screenings can help detect Alzheimers and other memory conditions in a patient early on.
