Tuition revenue bonds funding stripped from bill - My West Texas

Amendments to a bill that would have provided funding for higher education facilities, including one for Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in Odessa, were eliminated Tuesday.

Rep. Tom Craddick (R-Midland) first proposed an amendment to Senate Bill 1048 that would have provided $100 million in tuition revenue bonds to the University of Texas at Austin.
