Tech among tops for '10 donations - LubbockOnline.com


The Texas Tech University System ranked No. 46 out of the nation's top 100 institutions last year as it attempted to raise $1 billion by the end of 2013.

The Tech system, which includes Angelo State University and the Health Sciences Center, raised nearly $129 million in 2010, surpassing such institutions as the University of Houston System and the universities of Kansas, Oklahoma and Missouri at Columbia, according to an annual survey conducted by the Council for Aid to Education.
