MHMR board chair supports CEO Gary Larcenaire's work - El Paso Times

Four months ago, when the board governing the county's mental-health authority was dissolved and a new one was appointed, many thought job one for the new board would be to fire CEO Gary Larcenaire.

Its ad-hoc committee, consisting of Dr. Michael Escamilla, chairman of the department of psychiatry at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Research Center, R. Jacob Cintron, CEO of Del Sol Medical Center and county Commissioner Anna Perez, is looking for a way to open a psychiatric emergency room in El Paso.
