A medical research center housed in the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Pharmacy has plans to expand, potentially with financial help from the Development Corporation of Abilene.

The pharmacy school on Pine Street houses the Center for Immunotherapeutic Research, which is seeking to expand via a $3 million construction project that would more than double the laboratory and office space for the center.
