Team members across Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) were recently recognized for exceptional work and years of service at each campus community.

35 staff members were selected as 2021 Distinguished Staff Award recipients. The Distinguished Staff Awards honor team members for extraordinary contributions that impact the institution and support its mission of higher education, patient care and research. These awards recognize team members on each campus who have gone above and beyond in their many roles at TTUHSC. 2021 Distinguished Staff Award recipients were recognized at awards ceremonies on their respective campuses.

Additionally, hundreds of team members were recently recognized for their length of service, with more than 600 individuals celebrating five to 45 years of dedicated service within TTUHSC. The Years of Service Award is presented based on the team member’s length of service within the institution in five-year increments. Years of Service award honorees receive a certificate and distinctive pin to commemorate the occasion.

“Thank you to our 2021 awardees and honorees for your outstanding service - and our more than 5,000 team members for the work you do each day,” said TTUHSC President Lori Rice-Spearman, Ph.D. “We are fortunate to have a talented, dedicated workforce that lives our values, making TTUHSC the best place to work, learn, and serve.”
